Allianz UK is seeking a Risk Selection Manager to lead the Personal Lines Motor pricing and underwriting team. You will oversee underwriters and pricing analysts to ensure sustainable profitable growth, proactive broker performance management, and excellent customer outcomes.

Based in London or Chelmsford, this hybrid role requires attendance 50% of the time. You will collaborate with pricing, distribution, product delivery, and other teams to maintain competitive broker propositions and strong

Formación

• Proven experience managing broker performance to targets in personal lines.
• Strong pricing and underwriting principles, broker book management, data enrichment and risk selection.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams, including underwriters, analysts and pricing professionals.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance, risk and market data.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing decisions across multiple business functions.
• Ability to lead cross‑function teams to deliver on broker specific projects, including new products and data enrichment.
• Commercial awareness balancing growth, profitability and customer outcomes with proactive account management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of underwriters and pricing analysts, creating a high‑performing environment.
• Deliver broker KPIs through underwriting governance, pricing action and risk management.
• Monitor motor portfolio performance, identify trends, opportunities and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Pricing, Technical Pricing & Underwriting, Claims, Commercial Trading, Distribution and Product Delivery.
• Use internal and external data to support underwriting and pricing strategy, product development and portfolio optimisation.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical leadership for underwriting and pricing capability.
