Job summary

West Brom in West Bromwich is recruiting for a Relationship Development Assistant to support brokers and customers with a focus on delivering high-quality service. The role is based in our West Bromwich office and is a permanent, 35-hour-per-week position with salary £26,010 rising to £26,899 after probation.

You'll handle broker inquiries, process payments, register brokers, and provide product guidance while complying with regulatory governance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Clear, confident communicator who can be heard by others.
• Flexible and proactive with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Providing a service so good that our brokers shout about us.
• Be there when our brokers need us, mostly via phone or email.
• Handling queries about products, services, or other needs.
• Assisting with payments of proc fees; registering brokers; MAPS support; and reporting MI.
• Supporting the team with allocated tasks, promotional research and case updates.
• Complying with regulatory governance and internal controls.
• Contributing to a minimum capture rate on inbound calls and maintaining coverage.
• Assisting with colleague training and IST utilisation reporting.
• Registering ARs and DAs and updating systems for broker changes.
• Reviewing product switch illustrations for accuracy.
