Job summary

Asset Finance International, the asset finance division of a FTSE 250 specialist lender, is seeking a Broker Development Manager to join its external sales team. Based in the UK with hybrid working in Manchester, you will drive sustainable growth by identifying, developing and managing asset finance business generated via finance brokers, within agreed credit, asset and profitability criteria.

You will act as the primary contact for broker partners and structure transactions to deliver win-win

Our client is the asset finance division of a FTSE 250 specialist lender. They have a rare opportunity for a Broker Development Manager to join their successful external sales team.

Ideally based south of the Midlands, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth through the identification, development and management of asset finance business generated via finance brokers operating within agreed credit, asset and profitability criteria.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify, develop and grow relationships with finance brokers, maximising new business opportunities within agreed credit, asset and profitability criteria.
• Act as the primary relationship contact for broker partners, utilising specialist asset finance knowledge to structure transactions, provide solutions and overcome barriers to successful deal completion.
• Apply expert asset finance knowledge and problem-solving skills to structure complex transactions, resolve issues and create positive outcomes for brokers and customers.
• Build strong internal relationships across Sales, Credit, Operations and the wider Group to deliver exceptional service and achieve positive outcomes for brokers and customers.
• Apply strong asset finance and credit knowledge to improve the quality of broker submissions and support the progression of larger, more complex or higher-risk transactions.

We are looking for candidates who have proven experience in a similar broker development role within the hard asset finance market.

You will have well developed credit skills, excellent relationship management and development skills and the ability and manage multiple key stakeholder relationships to ensure business is transacted smoothly.
