Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. UK is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support the UK broadcast infrastructure and assist end users. Under the supervision of the Broadcast Engineering Operations Manager, you will provide root cause analysis of escalated incidents and ensure 24x7 availability.

This onsite role at the Media and Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park requires a shift pattern and strong knowledge of broadcasting standards, video routers, and multi-OS environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Broadcast Technology or related field is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, including Visio.
• Strong verbal and written communication; multi-OS familiarity (Windows/Linux).

Responsibilities

• Impart technical expertise of established broadcasting standards to the Broadcast Engineering team.
• Manage and optimize system performance for 24x7x365 availability.
• Develop and document standards and procedures for all broadcasting systems.
• Provide system support for all broadcast systems (video routers, audio mixers, cameras, robotics, switchers, intercom, etc.)
• Provide all technical support for omni-channel broadcasting (On Air, Social Media, and web streaming), including after-hours.
