Job summary

TLP is seeking a Change Manager to lead two Bristol-area sites through the launch of a state-of-the-art distribution centre. The role focuses on people, processes, safety and performance, with a strong emphasis on change, continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant change management and continuous improvement experience in FMCG, logistics, retail or distribution environments.
• Proven track record leading large-scale transformation projects with measurable operational improvements.
• Experience supporting a new site opening, warehouse start-up or major site transition.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence and challenge at all levels.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations within a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment.
• Passion for creating a collaborative and inclusive culture where colleagues contribute ideas to drive change.
• Lean, Six Sigma and/or Project Management qualifications are desirable.
• Experience working with Trade Unions would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management, continuous improvement and operational excellence across two sites in the Bristol area, working closely with site leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the successful launch and transition of a new distribution centre, ensuring change is planned, communicated and embedded across people, processes and systems.
• Champion health, safety, wellbeing and operational standards across employees, agency workers and contractors.
• Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative culture for idea sharing and improvement.
• Identify opportunities for improvement using data and operational insight to deliver measurable, business-led change.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and best practice aligned with standards and requirements.
• Lead cross-functional improvement sessions, root cause analyses and initiatives keeping people and safety central to decisions.
• Share best practices across the network and support consistent operational standards.
