Nationwide are recruiting a Local Business Manager for their Brighton branch. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week, Mon-Sat) focuses on building trusted relationships with business customers and delivering excellent service across onboarding and servicing.

You’ll develop lending knowledge, support customers with complex needs, and coach branch colleagues while maintaining regulatory and risk standards. A community-focused banking role with strong impact.

Qualificações

• Experience delivering excellent customer outcomes in a regulated environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and understand customer needs.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with a wide range of customers and colleagues.
• Skill in identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate products or services.
• Good judgement and decision-making balancing customer outcomes with risk management.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and follow-up in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of working accurately within regulatory requirements and risk frameworks.
• Willingness to learn and develop Business Banking knowledge and capability.

Responsabilidades

• Support customers throughout their relationship with Nationwide, from onboarding and everyday servicing to more complex needs.
• Identify customer needs and refer customers to the most appropriate products and services.
• Develop lending knowledge and decision-making within delegated authority; receive training and ongoing support.
• Help branch colleagues build Business Banking knowledge and confidence to recognise opportunities.
• Ensure risk and compliance requirements are met in all activities to deliver good customer outcomes.
