Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd in Brighton is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a well established independent practice. You will work closely with managers and partners across accounts and audit on a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, larger entities and not-for-profit clients.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience across accounts with some audit exposure preferred.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of clients.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and UK practice.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in progressing within practice; study support for qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assist with audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Assist with personal tax work where required.
• Prepare VAT returns and other general accounting tasks.
• Communicate with clients and support junior team members.
