Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Senior for a practice role based in Brighton or Horsham. You will lead statutory audits, prepare statutory accounts, manage fieldwork, and mentor juniors while developing client relationships and ensuring high quality service.

You will work closely with managers and partners to deliver timely, compliant work and identify process improvements across assignments. A proactive, client-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• UK audit experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong experience in statutory audits and accounts preparation.
• Ability to manage assignments and workload effectively.
• Good technical knowledge of accounting/auditing standards.
• Confident in communicating with clients at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete statutory audit assignments for a varied client base.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, testing and working papers.
• Identify issues and discuss findings with managers and clients.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a key contact.
• Ensure timely, accurate service and meet deadlines.
• Support, review and mentor junior team members.
• Identify process improvements to maintain high standards.
