Qualifications

• Significant UK audit experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory audit and accounts preparation.
• Experience managing assignments, reviewing work and delivery.
• Ability to manage client relationships and communicate confidently at all levels.
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues and guiding colleagues toward progression.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit and accounts assignments from planning through completion.
• Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across sectors.
• Plan, oversee and review statutory audit assignments.
• Review statutory accounts and financial statements for compliance.
• Manage budgets, deadlines and workflow for efficient delivery.
• Act as key client contact, provide guidance and resolve queries.
• Identify issues and work with clients and colleagues to resolve them.
• Review work of junior and senior staff and provide feedback.
• Support development and progression of colleagues.
• Collaborate with senior management and partners on service delivery and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen client relationships.
