Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions is seeking a flexible practitioner to join the Bright Flex / Bank team at Regents Park Nursery in London. You will support the delivery of the EYFS through engaging, development-focused activities and help children reach key milestones.

Working as part of a larger team, you will handle day-to-day nursery tasks such as room tidying and preparation. A Level 3+ Early Years qualification and safeguarding DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children in nursery or early years settings.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities and learning experiences.
• Work with the team to complete day-to-day tasks such as tidying and room preparation.

Salary – £14.98 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Regents Park Nursery. Our nursery is a 10 minute walk from Camden Town station and 15 minutes walk from Great Portland Street Station. We are located a 2 minute walk away from Regents Park.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
