Job summary

Bright Horizons Sale nursery is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team. You will support the delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities and help maintain a well-organized daily routine for children.

To apply, you must hold a Level 3+ Early Years qualification and have prior experience with children in a nursery setting or similar. We offer flexible shifts, excellent benefits, and a supportive team environment, with DBS checks required for all roles.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children in a nursery setting or similar.
• Ability to make learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
• Solid safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child protection.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting shift patterns.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee - giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What We’re Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
