Amey is seeking a Site Engineer to join its Specialist Bridge Inspection & Maintenance (SBIM) team, supporting the M48 Severn Bridge, M4 Prince of Wales Bridge and M5 Avonmouth Bridge. You will provide site engineering support for maintenance, renewal and improvement works and work with Section Engineer and subcontractors to keep projects on programme.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) and CSCS, with experience in highways or bridge maintenance, and be

Responsabilidades

• Provide site engineering support for bridge and structures maintenance, renewal and improvement works.
• Support the Section Engineer in delivering allocated work packages.
• Carry out inspections, measurements, surveys and defect verification.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities with supervisors, operatives and subcontractors.
• Assist in RAMS, permits, site briefings and control measures.
• Carry out quality assurance activities including inspections and snagging.
• Maintain site records, diaries, test results and handover information.
• Assist with traffic management interfaces and access requirements.
• Monitor progress and report on productivity, risks and completed works.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement across the contract.
