Job Description

The Salvation Army Bridge Centre provides safe, integrated, high-quality treatment and support services for individuals affected by alcohol or substance use. Our services are evidence-based, people-centred, caring, transformative, and responsive.

About the Role

To apply for this role, you must have lived experience of addictions, either personally or within your whanau.

You will join a passionate and caring team supporting individuals in our Bridge Addiction residential programme by helping them improve life skills, relationships, and daily activities as part of their recovery process.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A passion for supporting others through their mental health and addiction journey.
  • A non-judgmental attitude.
  • A full NZ driver’s licence and ability to drive a van.
  • Moderate proficiency with IT systems.
  • Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent part-time role, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, approximately 5 hours per day.

Salary

The starting salary will be between $27.80 and $29.10 per hour.
