Job summary

BEAR Scotland Limited is seeking a Bridge Inspector to join our team on a full-time basis across Inverness, Perth, Corpach and Killin. Reporting to the Bridge Inspection Manager, you will support General and Principal Inspections and work towards BICS qualification, with site visits and hybrid working patterns.

You will perform Reactive and safety inspections, work at height with access systems, and handle confined space entries on water.

Qualifications

• Modern Apprentice Scheme entry qualification and progression to HND.
• HND / BSC in Civil Engineering
• Working towards BICS assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with General and Principal Inspections
• Carrying out Reactive and safety inspections
• Working at height, utilising access systems and underbridge inspection equipment
• Confined space entry, working on water.
• Site supervision of maintenance schemes.
