Job Role
Inertia Consulting are seeking to expand our Operations Team by recruiting an experienced Bridge Inspector operating out of our Regional office in Falkirk, Scotland to support ongoing growth.
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team and contribute to the delivery of annual inspection programmes, including but not limited to:
· Carrying out General & Principal Inspections in accordance with CS450
· Carrying out Special Inspections using various NDT techniques
· Identifying defects and writing inspection reports
· Identifying safety critical defects and reporting to the client whilst on site
· Carrying out desktop studies on structures and assisting in inspection planning
· Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations and policies
· Working at height / accessing confined spaces (training provided)
We are looking for someone with an eye for detail who can demonstrate prioritisation skills, managing competing demands and objectives, with a focus on professionalism and working pro-actively as part of a passionate and dedicated team.

Role Requirements
You will need to:
· Be able to work outdoors during normal daytime hours, unsociable night-time hours and occasional weekends
· Be comfortable with working at height and on or around water
· Be comfortable with travelling and staying away from home a moderate amount
· Be comfortable with long distance driving on occasion
· Be able to work on multiple projects that may involve differing operational requirements
· Have a reasonable standard of physical health and fitness
· Be comfortable with operating power tools such as percussion drills
· Be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
· Have 3 A-Levels including Maths and English or other relevant qualifications such as a BTech in Civil Engineering
. Be certified in or working towards NHSS31 Lantra BICS
· Hold a full UK car driving licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
