Job description

Job Introduction

We're excited to launch a brand-new housing support service across the Bradford District, delivered in partnership between Waythrough and The Bridge Project. This innovative collaboration will provide high-quality housing-related support to individuals facing a range of disadvantages, helping people to sustain tenancies, increase independence, and improve their overall wellbeing.

As a Housing Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred trauma informed housing-related support to clients across the district. Working with individuals who may face a range of complex challenges, you will provide practical assistance, advocacy, and tailored support to help people maintain their accommodation, access relevant services, and achieve positive outcomes.

This is a meaningful opportunity to join a new service from the very beginning and help shape its future development. Working as part of a dedicated team across both Waythrough and The Bridge Project, you will contribute to delivering a high-quality service that promotes independence, resilience, and social inclusion.

We're looking for candidates with experience of supporting individuals with housing-related needs and a passion for helping people overcome barriers to achieving stable and independent lives. The successful candidates will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, be able to manage a diverse caseload, and have experience of working with people facing social, financial, health, or other complex challenges. You will work collaboratively with a range of partner agencies and professionals, helping clients to access the support and opportunities they need while ensuring support plans are tailored, outcome-focused, and responsive to individual needs.

If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to people's lives while being part of an innovative new partnership service, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Waythrough and The Bridge Project and help deliver a new housing support service that empowers people to achieve stable housing, greater independence, and brighter futures across the Bradford District.

Joining The Bridge Project means becoming part of a team that values you, your wellbeing, your growth, and your future. Alongside a rewarding career, you'll enjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive:

  • Refer-a-friend bonus of £500 when you help us bring great people on board
  • Two hours of monthly wellbeing time to pause, connect, and reset with your team
  • A programme of mindfulness activities to boost focus on overall wellbeing
