Job summary

Amey in Bristol is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the SBIM contract across major bridges. You will supervise site teams, ensure health and safety compliance, and deliver maintenance and renewals with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects with a focus on safety.
• Proven ability to manage on-site supervision and resources.
• Formal safety training and highway safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work complies with health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Plan, supervise and deliver maintenance and renewals on time and budget.
• Coordinate resources and oversee on-site operations, resolving issues.
• Review design options, contractor risk assessments and measurements.
• Capture resource use and support estimating and waste management.
• Mentor staff and apprentices and participate in on-call rota.
