Job summary

Arcadis, a world-leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, invites motivated undergraduates to join a hands-on paid internship or placement in bridge and civil engineering. Over 10–12 weeks or 12-months, you will work on real projects, supported by training and mentorship, gaining exposure to feasibility studies, design and site supervision.

You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject and be encouraged to travel, collaborate with teams, and develop digital and sustainable

Qualifications

You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
You will demonstrate Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
Willing to travel and stay away from home (where possible we embrace virtual working).

Responsibilities

Undertake feasibility studies, design and site supervision on Bridge and Civil structures projects in Highways and Rail.
Work in teams of various sizes to develop first-class, digital and sustainable solutions for clients.
Gain a wide variety of experience on projects such as HS2 and Lower Thames Crossing, heritage bridges, and moving bridges.
