Job summary

Arcadis is the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy firm delivering sustainable solutions for natural and built assets. This internship/placement program offers hands-on experience on real projects and clients, supported by signposted training across 10–12 weeks or 12 months.

You will join a team that works on iconic bridges and major infrastructure, developing technical skills and professional growth while contributing to digital and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
• Demonstrate Arcadian skills: resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, team player.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home (virtual working embraced where possible).

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, design and site supervision on Bridge and Civil structures projects in Highways and Rail.
• Work in teams of varying sizes to develop digital and sustainable solutions for clients.
• Gain experience on projects such as HS2 and Lower Thames Crossing, and heritage bridges over the Thames.
• Travel and stay away from home as required (Arcadis embraces virtual working where possible).
