Job summary

Bradford College is recruiting a Part-time Brickwork Skills Coach/Assessor to support and assess apprentices to national standards. The role involves managing a caseload, delivering Masterclasses, and ensuring ESFA requirements are met.

A Level 3 Brickwork qualification with an Assessor Award (or working towards) is expected, with strong ability to assess in workplace and classroom settings. Situated in Bradford, the college offers extensive employee benefits and opportunities for development

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of brickwork assessment and workplace/classroom evaluation.
• Experience delivering Level 3 apprenticeships or similar qualifications.
• Understanding of End Point Assessment processes and ESFA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Timely assessment of apprentices to national standards and recording decisions.
• Manage caseload with SMART targets to ensure progress and completion of apprenticeship components.
• Conduct timely workplace observations and upload progress in the management system for tracking.
• Facilitate Masterclasses on a regular basis.
• Plan OTJ requirements with employer and apprentice, ensuring completion to ESFA standards.
• Plan and complete 12 weekly reviews with employer and apprentice covering knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Coordinate progress reviews and ALN/ALS support as needed.
• Attend and contribute to validation of training plans and progression milestones.
