Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking a Bricklaying Performance Coach to train and assess bricklaying apprentices in the North West. You will combine workplace visits with portfolio development and regular progress reviews to help learners achieve their apprenticeship and advance in their trade.

A strong vocational bricklaying background is required, along with Level 2 Maths and English and a full UK driving licence to travel to placements. Training support is provided for teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• Strong vocational bricklaying background.
• Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to workplaces.

Responsibilities

• Assess bricklaying apprentices in workplace settings and conduct regular progress reviews.
• Lead portfolio development and coaching aligned with the bricklaying apprenticeship standard.
• Maintain accurate assessment documentation and tracking records.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers to support learner progress.
• Instill industry standards and professional practice in apprentices.
