Thorn Baker Construction in Port Isaac is seeking 2 experienced Bricklayers for a project. Start Monday 19th October, with an expected duration of 2 weeks. Rate is £260 per day, with working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Candidates will perform general bricklaying, follow site drawings, and maintain safety on site. Applicants should bring their own tools and PPE, and hold a CSCS card if required by the site; reliability and punctuality are essential.

BRICKLAYERS REQUIRED – PORT ISAAC

Location: Port Isaac
Start Date: Monday 19th October
Duration: 2 weeks
Working Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Rate: £260 per day

We are currently looking for 2 experienced Bricklayers to join a project based in Port Isaac, with work available for approximately 2 weeks.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying work on site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general bricklaying work as required on site.

• Laying bricks accurately and maintaining consistent levels, lines and joints.

• Mixing and applying mortar to ensure a neat and professional finish.

• Measuring and cutting bricks where necessary.

• Following site drawings and instructions from the site manager.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area.

• Following all relevant site health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Bricklayer is essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

• Valid CSCS card if required by the site.

• Own tools and appropriate PPE.

• Must be reliable, punctual and available for the full 2-week duration.
