Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Bricklayer for a 2-week contract at Trafford Park, Manchester. IPAF and CSCS are essential, with proven bricklaying on commercial sites and the ability to read and work from drawings.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, on a project involving structural steel interfaces, removal and rebuilding brickwork, and safe site practices. Parking is available nearby, and immediate start is possible.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bricklayer on commercial construction projects.
• CSCS Card required.
• IPAF Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Removing face brickwork and blockwork around existing steel beams.
• Rebuilding facing brickwork around newly installed steel beams as per drawings.
• Carrying out all bricklaying duties to a high standard.

Experienced Bricklayer (IPAF Required)

Location: Trafford Park
Rate: £24.00 per hour
Duration: Initial 2-week contract
Start Date: 20/10/2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bricklayer to join a commercial construction project in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This role will involve working around structural steel installations and requires a candidate who is experienced in both traditional bricklaying and associated alteration works.

Duties

• Removing face brickwork and blockwork around existing steel beams.
• Operating a breaker to carefully remove masonry where required.
• Working from an erected mini tower and cherry picker (IPAF required).
• Rebuilding facing brickwork around newly installed steel beams to create pillar features in accordance with site manager drawings.
• Carrying out all bricklaying duties to a high standard.
• Working safely and efficiently on a live commercial construction site.
• Complying with all site health & safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bricklayer on commercial construction projects.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Valid IPAF Licence.
• Experience using breakers and carrying out structural alteration work.
• Ability to work from drawings and instructions provided by site management.
• Own bricklaying tools.
• Full PPE including:
  • Safety Boots
  • Hi-Vis Vest
  • Hard Hat

Health & Safety

• Site induction provided on the first day.
• Fire procedures, escape routes and first aid arrangements will be discussed during induction.
• Candidates must adhere to all site-specific health & safety requirements.
