Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment in Port Isaac is seeking two experienced Bricklayers to join a short-term site project. The role involves on-site bricklaying duties, following drawings, and maintaining safety, quality, and pace over an approximate two-week period.

The ideal candidates will have bricklaying experience, the ability to work independently and in a team, and deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Bricklayer is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Valid CSCS card if required by the site.
• Own tools and appropriate PPE.
• Must be reliable, punctual and available for the full 2-week duration.

2 experienced Bricklayers

to join a project based in Port Isaac, with work available for approximately 2 weeks.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying work on site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carrying out general bricklaying work as required on site.

Laying bricks accurately and maintaining consistent levels, lines and joints.

Mixing and applying mortar to ensure a neat and professional finish.

Measuring and cutting bricks where necessary.

Following site drawings and instructions from the site manager.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area.

Following all relevant site health and safety procedures.
