Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking 2 experienced Bricklayers for a project in Port Isaac. Start is immediate for approximately 2 weeks, with a daily rate of £260 and working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Candidates must have bricklaying experience, be reliable and able to work well in a team, and hold a valid CSCS card if required by the site. Tools and PPE are expected to be provided by the worker.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Bricklayer is essential.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid CSCS card is desirable.
• Own tools and PPE recommended.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bricklaying work on site to high standards.
• Maintain accurate levels, lines and joints.
• Mix and apply mortar for a neat finish.
• Measure and cut bricks as required.
• Follow site drawings and instructions from the site manager.
• Keep a clean, safe working area and comply with safety procedures.

BRICKLAYERS REQUIRED - PORT ISAAC

Start Date: Monday 19th October
Duration: 2 weeks
Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Rate: £260 per day

We are currently looking for 2 experienced Bricklayers to join a project based in Port Isaac, with work available for approximately 2 weeks.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying work on site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out general bricklaying work as required on site.
• Laying bricks accurately and maintaining consistent levels, lines and joints.
• Mixing and applying mortar to ensure a neat and professional finish.
• Measuring and cutting bricks where necessary.
• Following site drawings and instructions from the site manager.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area.
• Following all relevant site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Bricklayer is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Valid CSCS card if required by the site.
• Own tools and appropriate PPE.
• Must be reliable, punctual and available for the full 2-week duration.
