Job summary

Purity Brewing is seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at The Brewery, Great Alne, near Alcester. You will maintain and improve brewery equipment to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency across our production lines.

You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults, respond to breakdowns, support CI projects, and work with external contractors. A hands-on, problem-solving approach and good HSE knowledge are essential for keeping our high standards of

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the brewery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Maintain, repair, and improve brewery and process plant equipment.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work aligns with health and safety standards.
• Manage and support external contractors on site.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
