Job summary

Mizkan Euro Ltd in Middleton, near Manchester, is seeking an Electrically Biased Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our Brewery Engineering team. You will maintain production assets, improve reliability, and support ongoing improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Reporting to the Brewery Engineering Lead, you will keep equipment running safely and efficiently, minimise downtime, and help drive continuous improvement across the site. The role follows a rotating 3‑shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical engineering with hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience maintaining manufacturing or process equipment.
• Exposure to pumps, motors and gearboxes.
• Experience with fault-finding and fault-diagnosis on electrical systems.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected issues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across brewery equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
• Respond to production breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects that enhance reliability and productivity.
• Assist with equipment installation, modification and commissioning.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to improve plant performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records through the CMMS.
