Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pathway Coordinator to support the Breast Screening service across Derby and Burton. You will manage appointment administration, coordinate clinics, and handle patient enquiries with accuracy and empathy.

The role requires strong organisation, IT literacy, and the ability to work across two sites, adapting to service needs and variable clinic times. Experience in outpatient settings is desirable.

Qualifications

• Educated to English Language and Mathematics at GCSE level.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and clerical support for Breast Screening services.
• Handle patient calls to cancel/change appointments and issue results letters.
• Coordinate assessment clinics and other office duties for the breast screening service.
