Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pathway Co-ordinator (Waiting list) to manage surgical and RTT waiting lists. The role requires experience with Lorenzo, E-Referral systems and a Band 2 administrative background, with strong IT literacy and English at GCSE level.

You will support consultants and the team, deputise for the Team Leader when required, and participate in training and development opportunities. A flexible, patient‑facing approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Full understanding of booking and cancelling appointments in Lorenzo.
• Awareness of work lists in Lorenzo and E-Referral system.
• Competent user of Lorenzo.
• Understanding of RTT and completion of RTT online training.
• Demonstrable Band 2 administrative experience, preferably patient facing.
• Ability to support Band 4 Team Leader and deputise during absence.
• Flexible with waiting list service and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient waiting list service to consultants and their team.
• Support the Band 4 Team Leader with day-to-day responsibilities and mentoring.
• Carry out staff appraisals and return-to-work interviews.
• Attend relevant meetings and work flexibly with waiting list staff and consultants.
