Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Breast Specialist Radiologist to join the Integrated Breast Services at Worthing and St Richard's Hospitals. This full‑time 10PA post covers breast reporting, clinics, ultrasound, interventional lists and MRI reporting depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy team serving over 135,000 women, with 8,000 GP referrals and about 1,000 new cancers annually. Tomosynthesis and VAB/E are available at Worthing.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification FRCR or its recognised equivalent.
• Full registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council.
• Completed a minimum of 12 years medical/dental work since qualification, at least 6 years in a relevant specialty.
• Higher Degree.

Responsibilities

• Support breast screening reporting, screening assessment clinics and arbitration sessions.
• Support MDM and one stop symptomatic clinics.
• Support ultrasound and interventional procedures, including VAB/E and localisation procedures.
• Report breast MRIs / cross sectional imaging.
• Support interval cancer and previously assessed cancer reviews.
