Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Breast Specialist Radiologist based in Worthing. The post is a full-time 10PA position covering Worthing and St Richard's Hospitals, with duties spanning breast screening reporting, symptomatic clinics, ultrasound/interventions and MRI reporting.

The post offers an opportunity to work within a busy Integrated Breast Service serving a population of over 135,000 women, with extensive digital equipment including

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification FRCR or its recognised equivalent.
• Full registration and a licence to practice with the General Medical Council.
• Completed a minimum of 12 years medical/dental work since qualification, with at least 6 years in a relevant specialty.
• Higher Degree

Responsibilities

• Support breast screening reporting, screening assessment clinics and arbitration sessions.
• Support Multi-Disciplinary Meetings (MDM).
• Support one stop symptomatic clinics.
• Support ultrasound and interventional procedures, including VAB/E and localisation procedures.
• Report breast MRIs / cross sectional imaging.
• Support interval cancer and previously assessed cancer reviews.

Education
