Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Breast Radiologist to deliver high-quality, patient-centred imaging services and lead the breast imaging and intervention workflow. The post supports the diagnostic breast imaging service and collaborates with the mammography team within a 10 PAs framework.

The role includes involvement in the National Breast Screening Programme, with opportunities to develop specialist interests and lead quality improvement

Qualifications

• Fully trained Consultant Radiologist with specialist breast imaging expertise.
• Experience with National Breast Screening Programme.
• Ability to lead imaging and intervention services and participate in MDTs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver breast imaging services including ultrasound, stereotactic and vacuum biopsy.
• Provide reporting for breast MRI, CT and radiographs.
• Support audits, governance and CPD; participate in MDTs.
• Contribute to ongoing service development and clinical governance.
