Dakota Newcastle is seeking an experienced Assistant Breakfast Manager to lead the Breakfast team and support the Breakfast Manager, ensuring guests receive exceptional service. The role is full-time, based in Newcastle, with a combined hourly rate of £16.21 (basic £13.71 plus tron £2.50).

Average tron payments are variable and not guaranteed. Candidates should be available to manage shifts, maintain standards, and contribute toDakota’s positive culture and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a hospitality environment.
• Confident and approachable leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at pace and be proactive for the duration of your shift.
• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
• Enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
• Task oriented with attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and available around business needs.
• Research of our brand and genuine desire to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Breakfast Manager in day-to-day operation of the Breakfast department, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead and motivate the Breakfast team, delegating tasks and maintaining high service standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through proactive, attentive service.
• Assist with rota planning, time recording, stock control and departmental administration.
• Ensure all team members are trained, supported and working to Dakota standards and values.
• Monitor food safety, allergen compliance and health & safety standards.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally to exceed expectations.
• Support operation of private dining, meetings, and events as required.
