Job summary

Staybridge Suites London-Vauxhall is seeking a Breakfast Supervisor who loves hospitality and guest service. You will lead the breakfast team, oversee service, and ensure a warm, professional guest experience in a busy London hotel.

The role covers maintaining a fresh buffet, food safety, HACCP records, allergens control, stock management, and supporting the team during events. You’ll work closely with colleagues to deliver great energy and a smooth start to each guest day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the breakfast team.

• Maintain a well-presented, fresh buffet and replenish as needed.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food presentation.
• Take responsibility for food safety, HACCP procedures and documentation.
• Monitor allergens and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Order food and monitor deliveries; manage the pantry.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain stock levels.
• Monitor food waste and assist with cost control.
• Prepare lunches and cater for hotel events when required.
• Complete daily checks and operational documentation.
• Support training and development of breakfast team members.
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with the wider hotel team for smooth operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our team at Staybridge Suites London-Vauxhall.

What you'll be responsible for

As our Breakfast Supervisor, you will play an important role in the daily operation of our hotel, including:

• Supervising and supporting the breakfast team
• Preparing and serving breakfast to our guests
• Ensuring a warm, friendly and professional guest experience
• Making sure the breakfast buffet is well presented, fresh and fully replenished
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food presentation
• Taking responsibility for food safety, HACCP procedures and relevant documentation
• Monitoring allergens and ensuring correct procedures are followed
• Ordering food and monitoring deliveries
• Managing and organising the hotel pantry
• Carrying out regular stock takes and maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Monitoring food waste and helping to control costs
• Preparing lunches and catering for hotel events when required
• Completing daily checks, records and operational documentation
• Supporting the training and development of breakfast team members
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
• Working closely with the wider hotel team to ensure smooth daily operations
