St Georges CofE (Aided) Primary School is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to support wrap around care for children aged 4–11. The role runs 7:30am–9:00am, Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks).

You will supervise, plan activities, ensure safety, and work with staff and families to provide a positive start to the day. Training and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the wrap around care provision.
  • Provide direct supervision and care for children aged 4 to 11.
  • Assist in planning, organising, and delivering a variety of enjoyable and age-appropriate activities.
  • Promote the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, encouraging inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, carers, and school staff.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with school procedures and safeguarding policies.
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of healthy snacks, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, positive, clean, and well-organised environment.
  • Support colleagues in ensuring the provision operates effectively and meets the needs of all children attending.

About this Role

St Georges CofE (Aided) Primary School are seeking afriendly, enthusiastic, and responsible individual to join our team as a Breakfast Club Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will support the day-to-dayrunning of our wrap around care provision, helping to create a safe, fun, andengaging environment for children. You will work closely with colleagues toprovide high-quality care, supervise children, and support a range ofstimulating activities that promote children's wellbeing and development.

This post is for 7.5 hours per week, (7:30am - 9am) Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks)

Key Responsibilities
