Horrington Primary School invites applications for wraparound care assistants to support our Breakfast and After School Clubs. You will plan and run a variety of arts, crafts and physical activities and assist pupils with home learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

Training and support are offered, and the role is suited to someone with school experience or other work with children who is calm, consistent and committed. DBS checks and safeguarding are emphasized.

Our Breakfast and After School Clubs provide a safe and stimulating environment outside normal school hours and are very popular with parents and children alike. Our Wraparound care assistants need to be enthusiastic professionals who value the opportunities these clubs provide, planning and organising a variety of exciting arts, crafts and physical activities as well as supporting home learning.

We are flexible about the skills and experience required. It is suitable for someone with school experience or other work with children, or someone with the relevant qualifications seeking a new challenge - as training and support will be offered to the post-holder.

Please note: The salary indicated is based on a pay scale. New appointments are normally made at the bottom of the scale. Progression through the scale is dependent on length of service in line with our pay policy
