Job summary

The Ivy Collection in the City of Westminster is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. You will work in a small, focused team preparing and serving high-quality breakfast dishes that set the tone for guests' days.

Experience as Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen is preferred. We offer hourly pay, a 20 hours minimum contract, staff discounts, and a development program to advance your culinary career.

• Previous experience as Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast dishes to recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock the assigned section with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain correct prep levels to ensure full menu availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas in compliance with food safety.
• Follow instructions from Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong culinary skills with a vast knowledge of Breakfast dishes and their components.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety practices.
• Early starts.
• Ability to work well using your own initiative.
