Job summary

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is seeking a Breakfast Barista who crafts coffee and tea experiences with precision, warmth and Nobu hospitality. You will work 30 hours per week across early shifts, serving guests with flair and attention to detail while keeping your station pristine and assisting team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve tea, coffee and other beverages to Nobu standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including specialty drinks.
• Set up and close the Barista station accurately and on time.
• Keep the coffee area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Report maintenance needs for brewing equipment promptly.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and personalised experiences.
• Assist and train new team members, contribute ideas for service.
• Ensure safety procedures and standards are followed.

As a Breakfast Barista at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you’ll be the creator of crafted coffee and tea experiences for our guests. With precision, warmth and attention to detail, you’ll ensure every drink is perfectly prepared and every interaction reflects Nobu’s signature hospitality.

You will

• Prepare and serve tea, coffee and other beverages to Nobu standards
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including specialty drinks
• Ensure the Barista station is set up and closed down accurately and on time
• Keep the coffee area clean, tidy and fully stocked throughout your shift
• Check brewing equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Provide attentive, genuine and friendly service to every guest
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised, crafted experiences
• Interact with guests, take orders and make recommendations confidently
• Support and train new team members, fostering a collaborative environment
• Attend team briefings and contribute ideas for service improvement
• Demonstrate a proactive, positive approach to work and guest care
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory standards
• Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro
• Perform any other duties as required
• Role 30 hours a week, 5 shifts and timings 6am - 12pm
