Axiom Hospitality Limited in Bath is seeking a Breakfast Assistant to join our Truly Talented team. You will work with the F&B leadership to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous restaurant or bar experience in a busy environment is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving beverages requested by guests.
• Ensuring tables are set and ready for guests at all times.
• Taking and executing guests' orders in a timely manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness to high standards in Food & Beverage outlets.
• Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Responding to guests’ queries on the menu.
• Communicating menu questions, wait times and dietary requirements to Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams.

Your role

You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests.

Responsibilities of Breakfast Assistant will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and serving any beverages requested by guests;
• Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times;
• Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner;
• Ensuring that cleanliness is kept at the highest standards at all times in the Food & Beverage Outlets;
• Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu;
• Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection;
• Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, as well as any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the teams accordingly.
