Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking a friendly Playworker to join a busy Out of School Club at a primary school in Bolton on a long-term supply basis. Start ASAP with 23.75 hours per week across morning and afternoon sessions, Monday to Friday, in a supportive school setting.

You will work with children aged 4-11 to plan engaging play, promote positive behaviour, and create an inclusive, welcoming environment where every child can thrive, with strong teamwork with school staff.

Qualifications

  • Have previous experience working with children aged 4-11.
  • Understand that every child and family has different needs.
  • Are creative, enthusiastic and confident organising activities.
  • Have a warm and positive approach to behaviour.
  • Are a good communicator and team player.
  • Have plenty of common sense, initiative and sound judgement.
  • Can provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment for children.
  • Have a good standard of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver fun, creative and age-appropriate play activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support children's emotional wellbeing.

  • Ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Playworker to join a busy Out of School Club on a long-term supply basis in a wonderful Primary School/

This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys working with primary-aged children and is looking for a consistent role with every school day worked, but plenty of free time in between shifts!

The Role

Working with children aged 4-11, you will help make the breakfast and after-school club a safe, happy and engaging place to be. You'll:

  • Plan and deliver fun, creative and age-appropriate play activities

This is expected to be a long-term supply position while the school recruits permanently, making it ideal for someone looking for regular, reliable work throughout the school term.
