Job summary

Rygor Group are recruiting a Passenger Car Breakdown Technician for our Mercedes-Benz aftersales dealership in Heathrow. You will attend roadside breakdowns, perform mobile repairs for fleet customers, and uphold STAR service quality.

This role is 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Competitive hourly rate £17–£19, with overtime paid at 1.5x, 23 days holiday, pension, and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in PC/LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.
• Must identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA Standards and hold a current, full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdowns for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
• Carry out mobile repairs for fleet customers.
• Provide STAR quality service representing Mercedes-Benz and Rygor brands.
• Aim for roadside fix and promote workshop services to customers.
• Complete own admin and communicate daily with the site.

Passenger Car Breakdown Technician (Mercedes-Benz)

£17 to £19 p/hr dependent on experience. Overtime paid at time and a half.

40 hours, 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday. 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Rygor Group are looking for an experienced and qualified car and/or van technician to join their brilliant team at their new Mercedes-Benz aftersales dealership in Heathrow. As a breakdown technician, your role will be to keep your customers’ vehicles on the road via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service to the highest quality.

Day to day, you will be:

• Attending roadside breakdowns for Mercedes-Benz vehicles
• Carrying out various mobile repairs for specific fleet customers
• Providing STAR quality service to all Rygor customers, representing both the Mercedes-Benz and Rygor brands
• Working to achieve the highest level of roadside fix as possible and actively seeking to encourage any customer who is attended to at the roadside towards being a Rygor Customer and using our Workshop
• Completing own admin tasks and ensuring daily communication back to the site of all work carried out.
• Ensuring the condition of the vehicle meets the expected standards of appearance and operation
• Maintaining the correct level of stock on the breakdown vehicle to meet customer demands.

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

• Qualification -You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in PC/LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs. What’s more, you will need the ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.
