Job summary

Celebrity Cruises seeks a CDP Baker to lead the bakery team aboard ship, ensuring daily production meets high standards while managing costs and compliance with USPH rules.

The role requires a culinary school degree and at least two years’ experience in upscale hospitality or cruise environments, with strong leadership and guest-service skills. Responsibilities include forecasting, coaching staff, and maintaining hygiene and quality across all bakery outputs.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale settings or cruise ship preferred.
• Culinary school degree required.
• Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid guest service, teambuilding and conflict resolution abilities.
• Basic accounting principles understanding and ability to write reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and control of bakery shop and production daily.
• Direct, coach, supervise and evaluate reports with Head Baker.
• Oversee production, quality and presentation of bread for menus.
• Prepare production forecasts and track leftovers to control costs.
• Supervise bread display setup in buffets and assist guests and crew.
