Job description

The Branded Content Lead is responsible for leading Fellas Studios’ branded content output (the formats, podcasts, and campaigns we produce in partnership with major brand partners) while continuing to work across the studio’s core podcast portfolio. This is a senior creative role that pairs strong editorial instinct with the commercial and relationship skills needed to deliver work that satisfies both our audience and the brands who invest in it.

Working across creative, production, social, and commercial teams, the Branded Content Lead owns the day-to-day partnership with key brands: managing the relationship, shaping the creative, and organising the shoots and delivery from concept through to publication. The role blends the responsibilities of a similar level content role with a specialist focus on branded work, ensuring every branded format is high quality, on brief, and brand safe without compromising the trust of the Fellas Studios audience. The Branded Content

Lead delivers this with the support of the Head of Production on logistics, resourcing, and production planning.

Fellas Studios is a London-based video podcast media company that specialises in delivering world-class content to a targeted audience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Branded Content Leadership: Lead the creative direction and delivery of branded content across formats and podcasts produced with major brand partners, ensuring each piece of work meets the brief, the brand’s objectives, and Fellas Studios’ quality bar.
  • Brand Partner Relationship Management: Act as the main creative point of contact for key brand partners, managing the relationship day to day, building trust, understanding their objectives, and translating them into formats and content the audience will genuinely engage with.
  • Shoot Planning & Production: Organise and oversee branded shoots end to end, covering scheduling, locations, talent, crew, and run of day, with support from the Head of Production on logistics and resourcing, ensuring shoots run smoothly and deliver against the brief.
  • Creative Development: Develop branded formats, segments, and creative concepts that balance the partner’s message with strong editorial and entertainment value, pitching and refining ideas that stand out in a crowded content landscape.
  • Core Portfolio Contribution: Continue to work across the studio’s normal podcast slate, contributing to format development, editorial quality, and audience growth alongside branded responsibilities.
  • Commercial Alignment & Brand Safety : Work closely with the commercial team to ensure branded formats effectively support sponsors and partners while protecting brand safety and maintaining audience trust.
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Coordinate closely with production, editing, design, social media, and commercial teams to ensure branded work moves through the content lifecycle smoothly and on schedule.
  • Creative Standards & Editorial Quality: Maintain the creative quality bar across all branded output, ensuring every piece meets Fellas Studios’ editorial and production standards as well as the partner’s expectations.
  • Delivery & Project Management: Own the delivery timeline for branded projects, keeping shoots, edits, approvals, and sign-off on track and managing competing priorities across multiple partners and shows.
  • Performance Oversight: Monitor the performance of branded content across platforms, feeding insight back to partners and using results to improve future formats and campaigns.
  • Experimentation & Innovation: Test new branded formats and creative approaches, evaluating performance to identify scalable, repeatable opportunities for future partnerships.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Support the growth of producers and junior team members working on branded content, sharing insight, improving workflows, and fostering collaboration across the studio.
Requirements
  • Experience delivering branded content, brand partnerships, or commercial creative work, ideally within podcasting, video, or social-first media.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to be the trusted creative lead for major brand partners.
  • Ability to organise and oversee shoots end to end, coordinating talent, crew, and logistics.
  • Strong strategic thinking and editorial judgement, with the ability to balance a brand’s objectives against audience trust and engagement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills when working with brands, talent, production teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, partners, and shows simultaneously while maintaining quality and hitting deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of digital content ecosystems and platform dynamics across YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Ability to analyse performance insights and turn them into stronger formats and campaigns.
Creative
  • Ability to clearly articulate a creative vision for branded formats that works for both the brand and the audience.
  • Strong instincts for concepts that will perform while staying true to a partner’s brief.
  • Ability to transform performance insights into format improvements rather than simply reporting results.
  • Comfortable evolving formats and experimenting with new ideas to keep branded content fresh and effective.
  • Builds alignment across production, social, editorial, and commercial teams to keep branded work moving efficiently.
  • Works in close partnership with the Head of Production on shoot planning, resourcing, and delivery.
  • Shares insights and learnings across the studio to improve overall performance.
  • Works closely with the commercial team to ensure content effectively supports brand partnerships
