Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking an experienced Brand Manager on a 12-month maternity cover contract to lead brand storytelling, cross-functional campaigns and brand optimisation in the UK&I market. You will own the annual marketing calendar, shape brand positioning, and translate strategy into practical guidelines for Operations.

You’ll collaborate across teams to drive engagement and ensure consistent brand experiences.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in brand, consumer or campaign marketing within food, hospitality, retail or multi-site environments.
• Strong campaign management and creative briefing capability with experience developing practical assets.
• Strong brand storytelling and content development skills across consumer, client and social channels.
• Ability to use consumer, operational and performance insight to optimise campaigns and customer experience.
• Strong stakeholder, project management and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen brand positioning and differentiation for UK&I clients and prospects.

Main Responsibilities

Brand Storytelling

• Strengthen how the brands are positioned to clients and prospects in the UK&I market, understanding the competitive landscape, defining clear points of differentiation and USPs, and identifying opportunities and gaps to continually evolve and strengthen the brand propositions.

Brand & Campaign Management

• Own the annual marketing calendar and seasonal campaign development, creating engaging customer campaigns and experiences that build brand relevance, drive engagement and increase participation.
• Optimise campaign activity using consumer, market, operational and performance insight, identifying what resonates with UK&I customers and applying those learnings to strengthen future campaign activity.

Brand Excellence & Optimisation

• Own brand guidelines, marketing standards and the definition of what good looks like, translating the brand strategy into clear and practical direction that helps Operations understand how the brand should be brought to life.
• Use site visits and feedback to assess the customer experience and identify opportunities to optimise the brand, understanding how customers experience the proposition in practice and using those learnings to inform future campaigns, standards, assets and brand development.
