Job summary

VTA Recruitment Ltd in Middleton, Manchester, is seeking a Branch/Rental Fleet Manager to own the day-to-day operation of our busy car and van hire branch. You’ll manage bookings, fleet, inspections and customer service, lead a small team, and drive revenue and profitability.

The role is hands-on, with occasional Saturdays and a company vehicle/allowance and a strong bonus scheme. Salary £29,000–£35,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped bonus and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Previous car or van hire experience is essential.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Strong customer service and people-management skills.
• Organised, reliable and confident working independently.
• Practical, hands-on attitude with strong administration skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

We're Hiring Branch / Rental Fleet Manager

£29,000 - £35,000 DOE + BONUS + COMPANY VEHICLE | OTE £50,000

TAKE OWNERSHIP OF A BUSY VEHICLE HIRE BRANCH

We are a small, independent and growing car and van hire company looking for an experienced, hands‑on Branch/RentalFleetManagerto take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation of our busy hire branch. This is not a desk‑only role. You’ll be involved across the business, from customer service and bookings to fleet management, vehicle availability and team leadership.

You’ll have the autonomy to make the branch your own, introduce new ideas, improve operations and play a key role in growing the business. You’ll also be responsible for building your branch support team, either by bringing an experienced Hire Assistant with you or recruiting and onboarding the right person.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
