Job summary

GreenThumb Ltd is looking for a Branch Operations Manager to lead a team across Cambridge & Norwich. You’ll spend around 80% of your time in the field, coaching Lawn Operatives and driving service delivery.

In this hands-on role you’ll plan workloads, manage budgets, recruit and develop staff, and work with Head Office to ensure safety, efficiency and excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coaching field-based teams.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem solving.
• Proven ability to drive branch performance and budgeting.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and motivating a team of Lawn Operatives
• Driving branch performance, productivity and customer satisfaction
• Spending around 80% of your time in the field, coaching, observing treatments and supporting or covering crew runs when required
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with GreenThumb standards, policies and health & safety procedures
• Planning workloads and making sure daily schedules and monthly targets are achieved
• Working with Head Office, HR and Training teams to recruit, onboard and develop your people
• Resolving customer queries and helping improve customer retention
• Managing stock, equipment, vehicles, budgets and branch reporting to keep operations running smoothly

Branch Operations Manager at Cambridge & Norwich

Fed up with spending every day behind a desk, in back-to-back meetings or staring at spreadsheets?

At GreenThumb, around 80% of your time is spent out in the field, leading by example, coaching your team and helping deliver outstanding service to customers. The rest of your time is spent planning, organising and driving branch performance.

Lawn care experience or PA1/PA6 qualifications are a bonus but not essential. We'll provide the training and support to build your technical knowledge.
