Job summary

The Work Shop in Southampton is recruiting an Operations Manager (Branch Manager) to lead a growing global organisation in import/export. You will be responsible for people, customers, operations and results, and will be accountable for a safe, engaged team and profitable growth.

Role requires hands-on leadership, open communication and a strong focus on safety, quality and customer-centric service. Office based, 5 days per week, with a car allowance and salary up to £90,000.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Ability to understand profit and loss, margins and stock turns.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to customers/suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the branch team.
• Drive customers and commercial growth.
• Oversee operations, warehouse and inventory.
