Job summary

LKQ Europe GmbH in Oxford is seeking a Branch Assistant to support every aspect of our busy branch, delivering products, assisting customers at the trade counter, and helping with warehouse operations. The role is hands-on and varied, with no two days the same.

You will be part of a close-knit team, build strong customer relationships, ensure stock accuracy, and help drive daily service standards. A full UK driving licence and a proactive, team-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Health & Safety.
• Basic IT skills with handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• Flexible, reliable, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally.
• Support Click & Collect customers and assist at the trade counter.
• Help resolve customer queries and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch activities.
• Maintain stock accuracy through daily stock checks and inventory procedures.
• Support stock takes and ensure products are stored safely and correctly.
• Help maintain shelf availability and warehouse organisation.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before every journey.
• Ensure company vehicles remain clean and roadworthy.
• Use delivery technology, including ePOD systems and handheld devices, accurately.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures within the branch and during deliveries.
• Attend daily team briefings and contribute ideas to improve branch performance.
• Work collaboratively across the branch to achieve shared goals.
• Support continuous improvement and training for skill development.
