LBS Builders Merchants – Port Talbot is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to take full responsibility for the efficient, profitable, and customer-focused running of the branch. You will lead by example, drive performance, ensure compliance, and deliver outstanding results.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing your team, building strong customer and supplier relationships, and driving sales growth while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience, ideally in a builders’ merchant, retail, or trade environment.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to deliver results under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring smooth operations across all processes and procedures.

• Support staff through recruitment, induction, training, and regular performance reviews.
