Job summary

Rhodium Consulting is seeking a Branch Manager for a Reading-based electrical wholesale distributor. The role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic planning, and day-to-day operational leadership to run the site profitably.

You will drive business development, manage sales and key accounts, and lead a team to deliver growth while controlling costs and building robust relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Electrical wholesale industry experience in a managerial or external sales role.
• Entrepreneurial with the initiative to spot and capitalise on new business opportunities.
• Strong customer focus and ambitious to succeed.
• Ability to plan and implement a strategic development plan with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop a team.

An opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager with electrical wholesale experience to join this well established distributor of electrical wholesale products. You must be commercially astute, with a solid intellect and will enjoy the responsibility of planning and implementing a sales and commercial development plan for your business, including a full Profit & Loss responsibility, and day-to-day operational responsibility. You will have the ability to think strategically, control costs and manage people. Successful candidates will also have the strong organisational and leadership skills to empower and develop their team on a daily basis. The ability to positively influence relationships with both customers and suppliers is essential, for which you will need a proven sales management background with experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
